Cross County Girls Add Win Over Osceola

STROMSBURG — It was a near capacity crowd of 600 people who came to watch the county rivalry of Osceola against Cross County. Undefeated and second ranked Lady Cougars took the early lead over the Lady Bulldogs and never looked back. The Lady Cougars remain undefeated with a 64-32 win.

Osceola Girls Take Second in Mead

MEAD – Rori Wieseman led the Bulldogs in their first game against Mead, not missing a shot for the win 60-8. Unfortunately, the shots just didn’t fall in the hoop against Fremont Bergan in the championship, so the Lady Dawgs took second after the 40-18 loss.

Bulldogs Lose a Heartbreaker to Mead, Take Third Over Sutton

MEAD – The Osceola boys put on two exciting games in Mead, losing to Mead on a last-second buzzer-beater basket by Mead and winning over Sutton by hanging on to their lead to win 54-50. The games started similarly. Osceola took the early lead in both.

Lady Dawgs Improve to 6-1 With Win Over Knights

OSCEOLA – With Nebraska Lutheran speeding up the pace, Osceola senior point guard Rori Wieseman had her hands full keeping the Bulldogs on task early in Tuesday’s Crossroads Conference game.

Gustafson Grabs 1,000th Rebound

Kale Gustafson, a senior at Osceola, recently set another record. He already holds the school’s career rebounding record as of February, previously held byAlan Gissler. At the Nebraska Lutheran game, he hit his 1,000th rebound. The state career record is 1,376.

Osceola Boys Meet Tough Opponents

OSCEOLA - From the looks of the roster, Osceola boys would not have trouble with Dorchester. The Longhorns listed six players total with just one over six feet tall. That would turn out to be the case with a Bulldog win 55-17.

Osceola Girls ‘Bulldog’ the Longhorns

OSCEOLA - The game between the Osceola Bulldogs and the Dorchester Longhorns on Thursday night turned into more of a fight than the Dawgs were anticipating. Even so, the Osceola girls continued their winning streak with a 5-0 record.
