Osceola and Shelby-RC Meet in Triangular

The Osceola Bulldogs and Shelby-Rising City Huskies met in a triangular held in Shelby along with Meridian on Tuesday night.  Both teams lost to CRC top ranked Meridian in two sets. Osceola lost 25-11 and 25-16. The Huskies lost 25-12 and 25-17.

Osceola Wins the Defensive Battle Over the Storm

Gustafson Achieves 1000/3000 Yards in Football

Osceola quarterback Kale Gustafson recently achieved 1000 rushing yards for the season and 3000 rushing yards for his career Friday night at the game against High Plains. His freshman year he was a linebacker, so he didn’t have any rushing yards his freshman year.

Slammers Finish Their Season in Subdistricts

GENOA— Polk County scored runs in each of the first four innings, but that was not enough as the Slammers fell 5-4 to Boone Central in the opening round of the C-7 Sub-District.

Osceola Claims Victory Over Warriors

OSCEOLA — They say that lightning does not strike twice. Just don’t tell that to the Bulldogs. Osceola (4-1) scored early and often on Friday in a 60-30 victory over Fullerton. And much like a thunderstorm, touchdown strikes can come out of nowhere.

Osceola Loses Two

EXETER/CEDAR RAPIDS – The Osceola Girls Volleyball hit the road last week for a pair of games that would both end in four set losses for the Lady Bulldogs. Osceola traveled to Exeter on Tuesday, September 26th to take on the EMF (Exeter-Milligan-Friend) Bobcats and fell 25-20, 12-25, 19-25, 24-26.

Lady Dawgs Improve to 8-5

OSCEOLA – The Osceola volleyball girls were busy last week with three home matches as they hosted Dorchester on Tuesday, September 19th and then hosted Elba and Nebraska Lutheran for a triangular on Thursday, September 21st.

The Bulldogs Take a Bite Out of the Tigers

PALMER – The Bulldogs were on the road Friday night playing the Palmer Tigers. The Bulldogs would get the ball first and score early with a 39-yard touchdown run by Kale Gustafson. Palmer could not score this quarter. The Bulldogs would put up two more touchdowns and one two-point conversion.
