Area Students Can Spell S-U-C-C-E-S-S

OSCEOLA — Wednesday, February 22nd was the annual Polk County Spelling Bee held at the Osceola High School new gym. The morning competition was for fifth and sixth graders, and afternoon for seventh and eighth graders.

What is the best gift for Valentine’s Day? This is a matter of opinion but to two moms it was meeting their baby girls for the first time. Two moms gave birth to baby girls at Annie Jeffrey Memorial County Health Center in Osceola on Valentine’s Day.
