Book Club to Meet on Feb. 27 at Library

The book club will meet at the Osceola Public Library on Feb. 25 at 5 p.m. The next book the group is reading and discussing is Regretting You by Colleen Hoover. If you can’t make the February meeting, start reading for March. The group will be reading and discussing The Lioness by Chris Bohjalian.

Bypasses May Be Eliminated from 81

LINCOLN — Discussion is picking up regarding the U.S. 81 construction project. The Nebraska State Highway Commission met on Friday in Lincoln and discussed the 40-mile section of U.S. 81 from York to Columbus.

Kindergarten Completes Vocabulary Book

Students in the Osceola kindergarten class recently completed their end-of-unit vocabulary book.The students had to draw a picture and write a sentence for each of the words they have learned.

Legion Auxiliary Fund-raiser Jan. 29

Join us on Sunday for our soup and dessert bar fund raiser at the American Legion Club in Osceola from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Our soup bar features 10 different kinds of soups and the dessert bar has many items to choose from. All money raised will go towards Girls State, and grave markers.
