Saturday Bonnie Lacy of Osceola presented her struggles with writing and publishing at the Stromsburg Library. She has been interested in opportunities like this but wasn’t sure how to contact libraries. She found the Nebraska Library Commission, which has a list of the 276 libraries in Nebraska.

The Polk County Historical Society hosted a quilt and art show at the museum on Sunday afternoon. Approximately 50 visitors came to view the art and quilts. There were 15 quilts and several pieces of art from eight local artists.

The Osceola boy’s basketball team hosted their second annual Driving with the Dawgs road rally to kick off homecoming week. About seven teams participated. The rules were you must take a selfie or video of a person in your car with the clue item.
Disc golf was set up Friday in Osceola. It is currently a 9-hole course and is ready for play. Now there are two options for disc golf in Polk County (Osceola and Stromsburg). See page 5 for more information. Photo provided.
