Huskies take on Indianhead in GI

GRAND ISLAND - The Shelby- Rising City girls golf team hit the road last Thursday morning to compete in the Indianhead Golf Course Invite in Grand Island.Atotal of 14 varsity teams and 74 golfers took on the 5,637 yard par 72 layout located in the southwest corner of the city.

SHELBY- In a big game you often have a play that was not even part of the offense throughout the summer and early fall be one of the keys to a win.

SHELBY-The year was 2018.That was the last time the Shelby- RC Huskies left the gym with a win over the Cross County Cougars in volleyball action.

Blue River tops HWY 91 to Improve to 8-4

DAVID CITY- After having their only game of the week weathered out, the Blue River Panthers were quick to make up the originally scheduled game from Tuesday with Highway 91 on Saturday morning at the David City Ball Complex.

Huskies Score First Win Against Falcons

ADAMS – By half time it was easy to see the Huskies were dominating, and they put their first win on the board, 54-8.With just a little bit of time off the board, Jett Vrbka ran it down to first and goal, and Carter Eickmeier took it in on a 9-yard run.

BLUE RIVER IMPROVES TO 7-3, With 3-2 Week

ALBION- The Blue River softball team opened a busy week with a convincing 13-0 win at Boone Central in Albion.The week of road games continued as they dropped a 9-3 decision at Arlington and went 23-1 at the Wisner-Pilger invite on a rainy Saturday.

Shelby-RC Golf Takes Eighth at Seward

SEWARD-The Shelby-RC Huskies golf team traveled to the Tri-County triangular and the Seward Invite last week.Results from Tri-County were not available, but the Huskies placed eighth out of 11 teams at the Bluejays home course in Seward on Friday.

Huskies Bring Out the Brooms at H &H Tri

HAMPTON-The Shelby-RC Huskies opened their season on Thursday with a two match sweep at the H&H Bearcats home triangular at Hampton High School.
