Pedicure Clinic

Pedicure clinics will be held at the Polk County Health Department the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of every month. Please call the health department at 402-747-2211 to make an appointment.

Shelby Resident Earns PhD from UNL

Krystal L. Gabel of Shelby, daughter of the late Eugene and Jeanette Gabel, has earned her PhD in Philosophy with a concentration in Human Sciences (Leadership Studies) from the University of Nebraska Lincoln. The graduation ceremony was held at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln on Dec. 16, 2022.
