CRETE- It was an offensive explosion at the Crete softball diamond on Thursday afternoon. Unfortunately in the end the No. 3 seed Adams Central Patriots had just a little more firepower as they ended the No. 2 Blue River Panthers season with a 14-9 loss in the B-5 District Tournament.
Adams Central and Crete, the No. 1 seed were scheduled for a best of three series starting at noon on Friday.
