HASTINGS- Pius X, the No. 3 seed and Polk County/Aquinas the No. 2 seed were locked up in a pitchers’ duel for most of the afternoon at the B-1 District Softball Tournament at the Hastings Softball Complex.
After three scoreless frames, the Lincoln Pius X Thunderbolts pushed across a single run in the fourth on a pair of walks and a single to take the lead, one they would never relinquish.
