LINCOLN - The Lady Cougars qualified for state but had to face the #1 ranked Amherst Broncos at 1 PM on Thursday. Cross County played hard but ended up short, losing in four sets, 25-15, 23-25, 25-19 and 25-23.The first set Amherst got out early, and the Cougars looked like they weren’t quite ready to play.
