Reliving the Past---No Golf on the HorizonThis past weekend I went to Grand Island to watch my grandson play baseball for the York Knights 8-U team against the GI Riverdogs.

CROSSROADS CONFERENCE GIRLS TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026

OSCEOLA- Through 16 events on Saturday at the girls Crossroads Conference Track and Field Championships in Osceola, nothing had been decided. The team championship would come down to the 4X400 Relay between Osceola and Cross County.

Titans Drop Pair to Fall to 5-12

GENOA- Last week the Twin River Titans ran into a pair of Class C teams who will be playing hosts to a district tournaments this week.On Thursday the Titans traveled to Central City/Centura where they managed just three hits and lost an 11-1 five-inning final to the Bison.

BLAIR- Located just north of Blair is River Wilds Golf Club, a par 72, 18-hole championship course.From the blue tees the course covers 5,971 yards with four par 5’s and four par 3’s. The longest par five hole on the course is 481 yards.
