OSCEOLA – Ansalde “Zaldi” VonHackewitz has made the most of her year of school in the United States, participating with Cross County’s state-qualifying volleyball and basketball programs, albeit as a newcomer.

GENEVA- The Hidden Hills Golf Course in Geneva, NE was home to the Fillmore Central Invite on Tuesday.The Panthers hosted an 11team field which included the Shelby-RC Huskies.

OSCEOLA- A water main break in Genoa bought spring baseball to Osceola last Tuesday afternoon.Due to the break the game between the St. Paul/Palmer Wildcats and the Twin River Titans was moved to the Osceola Ball Complex.

The Omaha Supernovas celebrated their 21st fivedigit crowd Sunday at Kiewit Court, drawing 11,212 fans at the CHI Health Center, but the Dallas Pulse (17-6) used a 25-21, 25-21, 2522 sweep to clinch a spot in the MLV postseason, which will be held at their home arena in May.

WOOD RIVER- It was a two-horse race for the girls team title at the Wood River Invite as Nebraska Christian edged Elm Creek 151-147 to win the event. (See full team scoring below).The two teams combined to win 15 of the 17 events as they battled to the wire.
