Twisters Send Three Grapplers to ‘C’ State

CENTURA- The Battle Creek Braves left the C-3 fDistrict Wrestling field in the dust as they rolled up 218 points with second place Logan View in second with 148.St. Paul was third with 135.5, fourth place went to Crofton/Bloomfield with 127.

SRC Battles, But Can’t Make up Third Quarter Deficit

YUTAN-When your season is on the line, the last thing you want to do is dig yourself a huge hole on the scoreboard.The Shelby-RC Huskies girls team did just that as they trailed the Southern Raiders 37-17 in the third quarter of the C2-1 District opener at Yutan High School.

Bulldogs Girls Basketball Finishes Regular Season on a High Note

OSCEOLA – With a sub-district matchup with Cross County around the corner, Osceola’s girls basketball team readied for the rivalry game with a solid effort last Friday, beating Shelby-Rising City 56-20 behind 24 points by Ella Becker.

OSCEOLA – After a slow start, the Osceola boys basketball team has made big improvements and last Friday's 56-47 home win over Shelby- Rising City was a case in point.

BRAINARD – The Cougars had a couple girls out for different reasons but still accomplished the win 51-36 against East Butler.The first quarter started close, but the Cougars pulled ahead. Edie Peterson led the first quarter with ten of their 15 points. East Butler put up seven.

Peterson sisters combine for 36 points in 55-39 Cougar win

POLK – Olive Peterson scored 19 points and sister Eden added 17 more as Cross County extended its win streak to five games with a 55-39 win at High Plains Saturday night.Olive Peterson tallied 12 of her points in the first half as the Cougars (16-6) took a 28-17 lead into the break.
