Another Birthday Win for the Cougars

GIBBON – Last week the Cougars got a win, and it was senior Cannen Mooney’s birthday. This past Friday was senior quarterback Sawyer Anderson’s birthday and again they get a win, 46-7.

Huskies Get First win Since 2018 Over Cross County

SHELBY-The year was 2018.That was the last time the Shelby- RC Huskies left the gym with a win over the Cross County Cougars in volleyball action.

Blue River tops HWY 91 to Improve to 8-4

The Lady Storm Move to 3-1

POLK – The Storm had a busy week with a triangular on Tuesday and a dual on Thursday.Tuesday they added one win over Twin River in two sets, and a loss to Riverside in two. Thursday they handled East Butler easily winning in three.The win over Twin River was 2512 and 25-23.

Bulldogs Hold Off Late Kenesaw Rally

OSCEOLA – After dropping its opener to Deshler, Osceola’s football team learned a few valuable lessons about making the most of its opportunities and the Bulldogs (1-1) took it to heart well enough to carve out a 38-32 home win over Kenesaw (0-2) Friday night.

Cougars Upset State Rated Battle Creek

STROMSBURG-The Cross County Cougars took a huge step in the right direction Friday night as they took down a traditional giant in Class C-2 football, the Battle Creek Braves 35-14 in their season opener.

Huskies Score First Win Against Falcons

ADAMS – By half time it was easy to see the Huskies were dominating, and they put their first win on the board, 54-8.With just a little bit of time off the board, Jett Vrbka ran it down to first and goal, and Carter Eickmeier took it in on a 9-yard run.

BLUE RIVER IMPROVES TO 7-3, With 3-2 Week

ALBION- The Blue River softball team opened a busy week with a convincing 13-0 win at Boone Central in Albion.The week of road games continued as they dropped a 9-3 decision at Arlington and went 23-1 at the Wisner-Pilger invite on a rainy Saturday.
