Will the SEC take their ball and go elsewhere and who will join them?As I was driving to Columbus last week for state golf I was listening to Rick Nueheisel and Chris Childers on Full Ride on Sirius Radio. One of my favorite sports talk shows.

OSCEOLA- The weather has played havoc with the Shelby-Osceola- Stromsburg (SOS) Seniors baseball schedule, but despite some afternoon raindrops on Thursday the team was able to get their second game of the year in against Albion Post #162.

OMAHA - In Class C, just five people made it to state track. Cross County had four with Ema Dickey (discus), Colter Larson (triple jump), Cole Redden (300m hurdles) and LangdonArbuck (high jump, long jump). Shelby-Rising City had one qualifiers, Danica Watts, but she was in three events.

OMAHA- Class D competed on Friday and Saturday. Osceola and High Plains brought home seven medals. Dundy County-Stratton was the big winner in the team events, taking first for girls and boys.

Janna (Osceola senior) repeated as pole vault Class D champion for the second year. She was also part of the 3rd place 4x100m relay.
