OSCEOLA – Cross County junior Cole Redden has won 300-meter low hurdle titles in two invitationals this spring, but he’d nearly won two more, losing by just .04 of a second in one meet and by .68 of a second in another.On Saturday, however, Redden was clocked in 41.

Cross County junior Ella Clark capped a strong week in track and field with three medals on Saturday at the CRC Meet In Osceola. Clark took second in the high jump, third in the 400 and she was on the Cougars third place 4x400 relay.

This past week Shelby-RC sophomore Carter Eickmeier picked up four medals at the CRC Meet. He was second in both the 100 and 200 meters, fourth in the long jump and he was on the sixth place 4x100 meter relay team.

SHELBY- All four area teams were in action at the Shelby-RC track and field invite on Tuesday as they were all getting in their final tune-up before the Crossroads Conference Meet that was scheduled to held in Osceola on Saturday May 3.

Titans drop pair of games heading into districts

GENOA — The Titans took on two of the state’s top Class C teams last week ahead of Thursday’s District C-3 game.Twin River dropped a road game to Class C No. 3 Adams Central, 7-0, on Wednesday. The Titans fell to Class C No. 1 Central City/ Centura, 10-4, on Thursday.
