FULLERTON – The Palmer Invite was delayed a day due to weather, and Friday they ran finals only in events. The Osceola girls placed second with 89.50 points behind Nebraska Christian with158. Burwell girls with third with81. High Plains girls were eleventh with seven points.

Cougars 7th at EMF; Sophomores 2nd in Hurdles

FRIEND – Sophomore hurdlers Colter Larson andAva Pruter stood out for Cross County High as they both had second place finishes in events and Ema Dickey was second in the discus at the EMF Invite track and field meet last Tuesday at Friend High School.

BRAYDEN SANTOS Brayden Santos pitched 5 strong innings on Wednesday for the Titans. He gave up 1 run on 1 hit and struck out 3 batters.

DAVID CITY - David City won their own invite with Yutan coming in second last week. Cross County came in seventh out of ten teams scoring 369 as a team.Kole Crawford edged out Brock Allen by one stroke for the Cougar’s best score.

GENOA — What a difference a week can make.Twin River snapped a 5-game losing streak with a 2-1 win over Aurora on Wednesday. Then on Friday, the Titans won their second straight with a 2-1 road win over Douglas County West.
