LOUISVILLE- After a cancellation last Sunday and two midweek rainouts, the SOS Senior Rebels were back on the diamond on Sunday against Louisville/Weeping Water in Louisville.The Rebels opened a 9-0 lead through 3 1/2 innings and went on to the 15-7 win over the hosts.

COLUMBUS-It was one last trip to the diamond for several graduated seniors as the 2026 Central Community College All-Star Game was held on Wednesday at the Raider Field on the CCC campus.The game itself was a pitchers duel with the Green coming away with a 2-0 win over the Silver team.

SHELBY - After dropping two close games during the previous eight days, the 14-u Rebels lost 14-1 to Malcolm 1 in Shelby on Monday night to fall to 2-3 overall.

STROMSBURG- Just a few days into June and summer vacation girls and boys basketball teams across Nebraska are hard at work as June is the time when coaches and players find out a little bit about themselves in getting ready for the high school basketball season which will start in December.

Brodey SpurlingHigh Plains’ Brodey Spurling was one of the top three-sport athletes in the state. He will be following his love for the game of basketball to Doane University next fall. He averaged 15.7 points and 6.5 rebounds and was top 10 in most all of the other categories.

Crossroads Conference vs. Goldenrod Conference Boys Basketball All-Star Game

OSCEOLA- The Cross Conference boys all-star basketball team caught fire in the second half as they outscored the Goldenrod All-Stars 48-32 en-route to the 71-61 win at Osceola High School on Sunday.This game was much closer than the CRC’s 124-78 blowout win last year.
