CCO Wrestling at Freeman Invite

ADAMS – CCO Twisters participated in the Freeman Invite. They placed fourth out of 11 teams with 100.5 points.102: Karston Dotson-Monroe lost to Erik Prado (Johns. Co. Cen.) in a 15-second pin. He won over Ethan Young (Norris) by 16-0 TF in 4:06. He won over Landen Parrott (Southern) in a 1:23 pin.

Girls’ Wrestling Results

CEDAR BLUFFS - High Plains wrestled at the Cedar Bluffs Invite on Saturday. Dakota Gress placed fifth.120: Bailey Gress won over Melinda Heenan (BE) in a 2:53 pin. She then lost to top seed Chelsey Robinson (Om. No.) in a 1:31 pin. She won over Ziniyah Redhorn (BAGO) in a 26-second pin.

Huskies Lose a Close One to Twin River

YORK – Shelby-Rising City boys faced Twin River on Tuesday in a consolation game at the auditorium. Twin River hung on and won 46-44.The end of the game was tight with Twin River holding a onepoint lead. Fouling happened back and forth.

Bulldogs Win Exciting County Matchup in Double OT Over HPC

YORK - It was set to be an exciting county matchup, and that it was when Osceola finally came out with the double overtime win 57-52 over High Plains.High Plains was down two players, with Carter Urkoski and Maddix Fuhrman having both broken one of their hands.

CC boys Beat SRC to Reach Semis

YORK – Cross County (142) ended all suspense early in Monday’s CRC boys basketball quarterfinal with S-RC by scoring the game’s first 11 points en route to a 77-47 win over the Huskies.

Cross County Girls Win Quarterfinal Handily

YORK – After beating seven Crossroads Conference opponents by an average of 39 points, Cross County’s girls basketball team played East Butler in CRC quarterfinal play Monday at York University’s Freeman Center.
