Lady Cougars Hand Longhorns Their First Loss

DORCHESTER - Cross County headed to Dorchester where the #1 seed and #2 seed of CRC met for a pre-CRC game. The Cougars won 58-35.  The boys' game was even more lopsided as Dorchester only scored 6 points and 3 of those was a trey in the first quarter. The Cougars won 66-6.

Cougars Score Win After A Defensive Start

by Beth Sparrow STROMSBURG - When the score after one quarter is 2-2, one wonders where the game is going. The Cougars got it going and pulled out another win over the visiting David City Scouts, 44-28.The first quarter it took almost three minutes for a score. Sawyer Anderson put in a basket.

OSCEOLA — The Bulldogs used the second quarter to shift the momentum in their favor on Friday as Osceola went on to defeat Santee 44-42 in overtime.

Lady Storm Pulls Out Close Win Over Knights

WACO – It was a close game in Waco, and the Lady Storm couldn’t hit a trey but they found a way to win 50-41.Courtney Carlstrom got the first basket, but the Knights soon added one. Peyton Hofmann put in a basket before the Knights hit a trey.

by Beth Sparrow STROMSBURG - There were no girl scouts selling cookies on Friday night as Kambri Andel led them with 24 points to hand the Lady Cougars their second loss, 37-24.Lindee Kelley scored first for the Cougars and put in six points, including a trey in the first quarter.

Bulldog Defense Key to Victory Over Warriors

OSCEOLA — The Bulldogs were firing on all cylinders and that makes them a dangerous opponent with the sub-district just a little more than a month away.Osceola overcame a slow start, used a balanced offense and pressure defense to cruise to a 65-45 win over Santee on Friday.
