Storm Boys Add 4th and 5th Consecutive Wins

WACO - The boys’game wasn’t much different than the girls. The Storm had a hard time hitting threes but ended up with the win over the Knights, 46-43.The 3-second rule for the paint was called a few times, and a couple Storm players were called off for blood running down their leg.

HPC & Blue River At Schuyler Girls’ Invite

SCHUYLER – Friday the High Plains girls and Blue River girls wrestled at Schuyler. There were 26 teams there. High Plains placed 19th with 17 points (for two girls) and Blue River placed 14th with 62 points (12 girls).

SCHUYLER – Shelby-Rising City participated in the Schuyler invite. They placed 14th out of 16 teams with 38.5 points. Jett placed third, with Carter and Owen placing fifth.132: Owen Krafka placed fifth. He started with a bye. He then lost to Landon Bernasek (Blair) by 13-2 major decision.

STROMSBURG – CCO and HPC competed at Cross County at the Bob Orsborn Classic wrestling tourney. There were 21 teams. High Plains placed seventh as a team and had three that placed (Urkoski, Friesen and Sharman 2nd).
