S-RC Take Fourth at Lakeview; CCO has Three in Fourth

Six Lady Dawgs Win One, Lose One To Start

OSCEOLA - They started with ten and two injured, and then two quit before the first game even started. Osceola girls were left with eight players on the roster, and six who could play. With only one sub, these girls were going to have to have the energy and stamina to play in every quarter.

S-RC Wins Own Quad

SHELBY - Shelby-Rising City hosted a quad last Thursday with High Plains, Winside and Clarkson-Leigh. The Huskies came out the big winners, defeating Clarkson- Leigh 52-12, Winside 42-18 and High Plains 41-24. High Plains came in second, with their only loss to S-RC.

YORK – The Gress sisters from High Plains competed in the York Girls Invite on Saturday.Bailey Gress (130) placed third, and Dakota Gress (135) placed second. As a team they scored 43 points, which put them in 12th place out of 19 teams.Bailey lost to Mariana Leon (NW-G) by pin in 3:08.

GIRLS GENOA — A pesky defense and an off shooting night was too much for the Huskies to overcome.Shelby-Rising City shot just 8 percent from the field on Saturday in their 51-17 loss to Twin River. The Huskies connected on just 4-of-48 shot attempts and were 6-of-16 from the foul line.

RAVENNA– High Plains competed in the Ravenna tournament on Saturday. They placed 7th out of 18 teams with 83.5 points. Hudson Urkoski placed second at 132, Levi Russell placed fourth at 138, and Gage Friesen took first at 157.Makayo Confer (126) started out with a bye.
