Osceola Girls Add Win Over Tigers

Nuttelman Scores 100th Win

Devin Nuttelman transferred to York for his wrestling career. He continues to have success at 132 pounds, winning champion at that weight in his first two invites. He is now 9-0 for the season.Saturday he got to see some new competition as the York team wrestled in Clay Center, Kansas.

Osceola Boys Lose Nail Biter to Tigers

OSCEOLA – An early lead was a good sign for Osceola boys basketball coach Jason Zelasney and the Bulldogs used defensive pressure at the end of Saturday’s game against East Butler to good effect too.

Girls’ Wrestling

CRETE - The High Plains girls went to Crete on Saturday to wrestle. The Gress girls placed well again. Dakota came in second and Bailey came in fourth.They will wrestle again at Wahoo on Friday.130: Bailey Gress had a bye. She then won over Natalie Davis (Crete) in a 1:43 pin.

Storm Win over Red Hornets and Can’t Hold Off the Warriors

Cougars Open with Signature Win,Add Victory over S-RC

Lady Storm Start Off with Two Wins

GRAND ISLAND - Gahvi Lesiak and Emma Brown combined for 28 points in the Storm’s 49-22 win over the Heartland Lutheran Red Hornets.Lesiak was 2 of 6 on treys, while teammate Carlstrom was 1 of 5. Overall they were 23% on treys.Free throws are also not their strong point, only shooting in 31%.

Lady Cougars Open With Decisive Victories, Diversified Offense

STROMSBURG – Two days does not a season make, but Cross County’s girls basketball team showed enough during lopsided victories that they are equipped offensively for a successful campaign.
