Donate Blood in Honor of Cooper DeWitt

STROMSBURG - Cooper DeWitt, a junior at Cross County, had acute lymphoblastic luekemia (ALL) from age 2 to 5 (2012 to 2015). He had countless blood and platelet transfusions which his mom, Jenni, said “kept him alive”.

Crosswalk at 4th Street and Hwy 81 in Stromsburg

The crosswalk light at highway 81 and 4th Street between Subway and Cornerstone Bank was working mid June. It stopped working about a month ago (late July). A modular box in the control panel is not working. A replacement part has been ordered under warranty.

Nebraska Supreme Court Justices to Visit

OSCEOLA - Each year the Nebraska Supreme Court judges visit an area of Nebraska. This year they are visiting north central Nebraska, 16 counties in three days.
