Cross County Robotics’ Last Competition in GI

GRAND ISLAND - The middle school and high school robotics teams competed at Grand Island Senior High for the “Clash on the Platte”. This was the two junior high teams' (A and R) last competition.

Cross County Robotics Excelled at O’Neill

O’NEILL - The Cross County Robotics teams competed at O’Neill last Saturday. However, it was very different from the week before.High School teams 5155E and 5155T excelled in the qualifying rounds, with team E finishing at first in the qualifying rounds and T finishing fourth.

CC Robotics: One More Team Qualifies for State

RAVENNA- Sometimes it’s the luck of the draw or who you pick. Cross County robotics found that out on Saturday.5155K knew they did not have the best robot there, but somehow they lucked out and ended up first after qualifying rounds.

LADY COUGARS WIN 3RD CONSECUTIVE RUNZA HOLIDAY CHAMPIONSHIP

CENTRAL CITY- In a rematch of December 21st at Cross County, the girls took on Central City to try to avenge their only loss. Avenge it they did, and won their 3rd consecutive Runza Holiday tournament championship with a score of 31-29.

Occasions and The Rose Colored Glass located in the Victor Anderson building have been selected for Nebraska’s Christmas Passport program.Much like the summer passport program, people can visit various locations to collect stamps.

STROMSBURG CITY CLERK/TREASURER RESIGNS

STROMSBURG - At the August 12th City Council meeting, Nancy Bryan announced her resignation. Mayor Everingham read it to the council and citizens present.Her resignation as city clerk/ treasurer was accepted with regrets, and her last day is Thursday, September 19th.
