Mary Scott from York is now the pastor for the Polk and Stromsburg United Methodist churches.She is originally from Fairmont, grew up on a farm, where they raised cattle. She was active in 4-H, showing cattle and traveling around.

We have had lots going on here at the library since I last wrote an article.As of August 7th the Polk Public Library has reliable internet!! Thanks Village of Polk!!Our Summer Reading Program was held in July. We had a lot of fun and I can't wait until next year.
