The winner of week six’s football contest is Darryl Shockley who only missed three.Coming in second also missing three was Ken Zelasney, but Shockly was closer to the tie breaker. Several only missed four including Dave Petersen, Doris Glatter and Lois Burke.There were 38 entries this week.

CROSS COUNTY BOE RECOGNIZED WITH AWARD

STROMSBURG - The Cross County board of education received a board of excellence award from the Nebraska Association of School Boards (NASB). This award is only given to schools who meet the criteria. This year 14 schools statewide received such recognition. Cross County is one of those fourteen.
