Polk County NewsTwo accidents over the last couple weeks involved Polk County residents.The first was on Friday, February 14th. Merrick County Deputy was detailed to Highway 30 and Y Road to investigate a two-vehicle accident.

OMAHA– Boys state wrestling was Thursday through Saturday in Omaha. Two of our local wrestlers were crowned state champions.The NSAA decided to do the championship rounds in a different order, starting with 157 pounds to 285, followed by 106 to 150.

FCCLA is hosting a Family Carnival on February 22nd at the Cross County School, to raise proceeds for Children’s Hospital. It will be from 3pm to 5pm. Entry fee is a free will donation.
