Louisville SRA’s Floating Playground to reduce days of operation

Louisville State Recreation Area will begin reducing its days of operation of the Floating Playground in August.
On Aug. 13, the Floating Playground will have sessions from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., 1-2:30 p.m., 3-4:30 p.m., and 5-6:30 p.m., weather permitting.

Irene Dunning may be the oldest woman in Polk County. Recently she celebrated her 103rd birthday at Good Samaritan Society nursing home in Osceola. Irene graduated from Osceola High School, was a teacher and spent most of her life in Shelby.
