Santa Visits Shelby

The Shelby Community Library hosted Santa and Mrs. Claus last Wednesday evening. Kids were invited to sit with Santa and Mrs. Claus, tell them what they wanted, and pick up a cookie and cocoa provided by Cubby’s. City of Stromsburg Hires Attorney at Monday Meeting

STROMSBURG — Due to the future retirement of Jim Papik, who has served as Stromsburg’s city attorney for the last 35 years, the mayor and city council have been seeking a replacement and interviewing candidates.

Osceola Christmas Watchperson

At half time of Monday night's basketball game against East Butler, the first Osceola Christmas Watchperson was announced by the Dazzlers. Congratulations to Tasha Weller (to much of her surprise). Tasha has always been there to help with any activities or events throughout the community and school.

Cross County Student Qualifies for FCCLA National Finals

The competition included teams from across the nation, all looking to place among the top 8 in order to qualify for the national final round. Cross County’s Yeira Ramirez achieved that feat.

Rafert Recognized by School Board

Dance Team Performs at Halftime, Joined by Tiny Huskies

Members of the Shelby-Rising City Dance Team performed Run Run Rudolph during the halftime of the boys basketball game on Saturday. In addition to performing the cheerleaders were joined by Tiny Huskies for Throwback Night.
