Dennis Koinzan, former football coach at Hay Springs, Stromsburg and Cross County, was honored Sunday night in Lincoln at the 54th Annual Nebraska Coaches Association Awards Banquet held at the Old Train Station Great Hall.

Covenant Home Clips

How blessed we have been this week to be able to be outside every morning! We have enjoyed doing many of our morning activities outside before the heat became too much. The nursing staff and CNA’s have been helpful in transporting residents in and out.

Platte River State Park’s 40th anniversary celebration is August 13. Platte River State Park near Louisville will celebrate its 40th anniversary Aug. 13 with a daylong event for the entire family.

Every fall, spring, and summer, my office provides some outstanding college students with the opportunity to intern in Washington, D.C. or at one of our state offices. These internships give students the chance to learn more about public policy, our system of government, and constituent service.

A demolition permit has been issued for a 100-year-old Lincoln house that once belonged to a retail giant in the Capital City. A preservationist has come out of retirement to lead the fight against plans to tear down an historic elevator at the Neligh Mills in north central Nebraska.
