SRC FFA Hosts June Jam Progress Show

On June 11th and 12th the Shelby Rising City FFA Chapter held their second annual June Jam Progress Show. SRC FFA committee members along with their advisor Morgan Segner worked very hard throughout the school year to plan and prepare for a great show.

TEN YEARS AGO June 21, 2012 Carol Dey attended the 50th wedding anniversary celebration for Jerry and Arlene Johnson in Wahoo on Sunday. On Sunday, Dean and Cindy Avery attended the Marsden family reunion in Lincoln.

Cindy Schulte and Dan Otto enjoyed Cindy’s granddaughter Eastyn Scheele’s 8 and under softball games on Tuesday and Friday evenings in Gresham. Adelle Tonniges visited her sister-in-law Sharon Davidson at the hospital in York on Thursday.

Gresham Library will have summer reading on Saturdays in July. Summer reading will include story hour, crafts, guest speakers, science experiments, prizes and more! This is open to all ages of children.

Kids Learn All About Fire Safety

Gresham Man Arrested on Drug Charges

YORK – Shawn Grant, 41, of Gresham, has pleaded not guilty in a case involving the alleged possession of methamphetamine. He was arraigned in York County District Court.

Polk’s July 1st Celebration

Polk will have a celebration on July 1st filled with food, fun and fireworks. Bounce houses for kids from 5:30-9 p.m. Water games at 6 p.m. Food served from 6-8:30 p.m. with a free will donation. Fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. Bring your own lawn chair. A fundraiser for fireworks will be a raffle.
