Swedish Traditions: Swedengate

Lately there was something circulating around the internet, and it was dubbed “Swedengate”. Supposedly a person posted on Reddit that one of her worst experiences was not getting to eat dinner with the rest of the family in Sweden.

National Smile Day was this past week and we celebrated by sharing smiley face pins with all the Bingo players as well as painting watercolor smiley faces in our craft time. Some are very colorful—besides the expected yellow! One artistic resident made her smileys look like spring flowers.

Blood Pressure Clinics

Clinics to monitor blood pressure will also be held at the Polk County Health Department in Osceola, every 1st and 3rd Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. No appointment is necessary. Walk-ins are welcome any day during office hours.

Immunization Clinics

The Polk County Health Department will hold immunization clinics at the Polk County Health Department in Osceola on Monday, June 27th, 2022 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. An appointment is required for compliance to the COVID-19 directives.
