MCH Awards Scholarships

Midwest Covenant Home is proud to announce our 2022 Scholarship award winners, Christina Rystrom and Blaike Bryan. Each is awarded a $500 scholarship to use as they further their education. The Board of Directors reviewed several applications and found these two applicants worthy of their award.

Osteoporosis is a disease in which bones become fragile and more likely to break. If not prevented or if left untreated, osteoporosis can progress painlessly until a bone breaks.

Sixteen seniors graduated from Osceola on Saturday. Receiving top honors in Osceola were valedictorian Blaike Bryan (left) and salutatorian Kayleigh Pinney (right). Twenty-nine seniors graduated from Cross County on Saturday.

Drowning in North Polk County

On May 9th, 2022 at around 7 p.m. boaters on Ernst Lake discovered a body in the water. Polk County Sheriff’s Office, Duncan Fire and Columbus Fire and Rescue all responded to the scene. The body was recovered from the lake a short time later. The victim was identified as Kellie M.
