The community was saddened by the sudden loss of life-long Gresham resident Dale Rhodes on Thursday, April 21st, 2022. Dale graduated from Gresham High School in 1983, the last class to graduate from Gresham High School.

Polk Senior Center

Well, we wanted relief from the arid weather and voila--it came! I do hope the icy spheres missed your house and yard. Plus it was cold enough to snow and sure ‘nuff it DID! (I’m all weathered out now.) Stromsburg took the pitch trophy home last Monday. Congratulations ladies!

This is the time we honor mothers around the nation. Mothers are special people that keep the house running, mostly raise the children, and sometimes have another job outside the home.

Game and Parks Seeks Seasonal Workers

Be Protective of Teenage Workers This Summer

It’s summertime when many municipalities and governmental agencies hire teenagers to do everything from mowing to trimming trees to picking up trash. It’s a win/win situation for the towns that can acquaint young citizens with the operations of a government entity.
