History of Voting in the United States

In the Constitution in 1789, voting was limited to property-owning or tax-paying white males (about 6% of the population. The Naturalization Act of 1790 limited citizenship to free white persons.

Nebraska author Jonis Agee will present a free program, on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at 3:45 pm. Her novel “The Bones of Paradise,” is the 2022 One Book, One Nebraska selection.

TEN YEARS AGO May 3, 2012 Cassidy Peterson became the new owner of SoLo Fitness in Stromsburg. She purchased it from Fran Wieseman, who owned it the last two years. Five students were inducted into Osceola’s National Honor Society on Monday, April 16th.

The act of breathing is essential to life and can be done with or without thinking about it. You can control your breath and vary it, but eventually air must come in, and air must go out. The breath of life and breathing exercises are an important aspect of many religions.
