Robert Gabriel

Robert Gabriel Robert “Bob” Gabriel 80 passed away July 11, 2026, in his home with his wife, Sue, by his side and under the care of St Croix Hospice. Bob was born on March 30,1946 in Osceola, Nebraska.

Bob graduated from Osceola High School. He was as a Morse intercept operator in the U.S. Air Force. Bob owned Lincoln Insulation then transitioned to sales for Nebraska Building Products.

Bob was a devoted New York Yankees and Husker fan.

He is survived by his wife Sue of 21 years; brother Lester (Maura) Gabriel; children Kim (Gary) Harper, Tina (Randy) Kacirek and Anthony Gabriel; stepchildren Deb Dozier, Doug (Patty) Dozier and Dean (Cassie) Dozier; thirteen grandchildren, two step grandchildren and one great grandchild; many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Bob was proceeded in death by his parents, Albert and Matilda, brother Jerome and wife Pat, sister Marietta and husband Bill, sister Rosetta and infant sister Veronica Mae.

Rosary: 10:30 am Saturday, July 18, 2026, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am, St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 7601 Vine Street in Lincoln. Interment will be 11:00 am on Monday, July 20, 2026, Omaha National Cemetery.

Visitation with family greeting friends will be from 5-7 pm Friday, July 17, 2026, Roper and Sons Midtown Chapel, 4300 O St in Lincoln.
