REPRESENTING YOU Roe vs. Wade was overturned while I was campaigning for office last year. I quickly realized that if elected I would likely be debating a potential abortion law change when I came here. There were several concerns I had regarding changes to abortion law.

Polls say whatever the person asking the question wants it to say. Don’t get me wrong, I am sure that there are some good pollsters out there who still do good work, but gone is the day where the public should put any credence into what a poll shows.

Easter Memories

I grew up in a teaching family. Both my parents were teachers, so that meant Easter was a 4-day weekend for all of us. Usually we would go visit my dad’s side of the family. So either that meant going “out west” to the Nebraska panhandle (Sidney) or “way east” to near Chicago.
