Shelby-Rising City Girls Crowned Champs at Own Meet

The Shelby-Rising City Girls came away with the trophy at their own invite. They scored 79 points more than the runner up, David City. The Lady Cougars came in fifth, with the Lady Storm ninth and Lady Bulldogs eleventh.

Titan Baseball Gets Another Win on Thursday

GENOA  — The Titans scored early and often and never looked back. Twin River defeated Fairbury 9-2 on Thursday to improve to 8-5 on the year. Kadin Buhl got Twin River going early, hitting a 3-2 pitch to right field for a leadoff triple.

Bats Come Alive as Twin River Sweeps Bryan at Home

GENOA — Kolton Neujahr doubled and rapped a three-run homer and Conner Schnell pitched into the fifth inning as Twin River (7-4) beat Bryan High of Omaha 13-1 in game one of a twin bill Saturday.

Bulldog Gym Rats Are Hard at Work

Don't tell them it's the offseason. The Bulldog Gym Rats Camp is hard at work improving their game. Last week was the first week and they had 28 boys in grades 2-6 come out for the camp, which runs every Wednesday through May 17.

Titans Hold on for 7-6 Win

GENOA — The Titans held off a late rally by the Cardinals on Thursday for a 7-6 win. Twin River got on the scoreboard in the first inning, added three runs in the second and two more in the third to take control of the game against South Sioux City.

Lady Huskies Win at Warrior Invite

FULLERTON — The Shelby-Rising City Lady Huskies won the Fullerton Invitational easily with a score of 184 points. Humphrey St. Francis came in third with 84 points, and the Lady Bulldogs did well coming in third with 81.5 points. A total of ten teams competed on Monday.

Titans Top Mustangs, Broncos, Fall to Wildcats

GENOA — The Titans won a back-and-forth game on Thursday to improve to 3-2 on the year. Twin River defeated Raymond Central 13-11 at Genoa City Park. Trailing 10-9 in the bottom of the sixth inning, the Titans scored four runs to take a 13-10 lead.

Osceola Girls Basketball Season Recap

OSCEOLA — The 2022/23 Osceola Girls Basketball season came to an end at Fall City Sacred Heart on Friday February 24th in the District Finals as the girls lost 58-32 to the eventual D2 state Champions.
