Lady Cougars Win Over Lady Dawgs in County Rivalry

OSCEOLA – The Bulldogs got the first point, but the Cougars soon passed them up and won 54-28.Addison Theis put the first shot up, but the Cougars caught up. Emersyn Prososki added a basket for the Bulldogs, and it was 8-4 at timeout.

Osceola Loses to Knights

OSCEOLA – Osceola girls hosted Archbishop Bergan in the first round of holiday tournament on Saturday. Even with seven girls playing, they couldn’t hold off the Knights, who won 62-42.Addison Theis had a great game putting in 20 points and making 70% of her free throws.

CCO Wrestling Wins 2 in Duals

KEARNEY – Cross County Osceola Twisters took part in the duals at Kearney Catholic on Saturday. They placed 7th, winning2 of the 5 duals.CCO vs. Burwell (Burwell won 56-15)106: Karston Dotson-Monroe lost to Michael Hunter by TF 18-2.120: Billy Carnes lost to Brody Jensen by fall in 0:55.

Lady Dawgs Lose 2, Boys Go 2-1

GIRLS The Osceola girls added two more losses to their record against Dorchester and David City Aquinas. However they were able to add a seventh girl to the court, as Emersyn Prososki was back on the floor. She played a little on Thursday against Dorchester and a bit more againstAquinas on Friday.

Osceola Girls Add Win Over Tigers

Six Lady Dawgs Win One, Lose One To Start

OSCEOLA - They started with ten and two injured, and then two quit before the first game even started. Osceola girls were left with eight players on the roster, and six who could play. With only one sub, these girls were going to have to have the energy and stamina to play in every quarter.

Osceola Girls Return Small in Number but Mighty

OSCEOLA – The Lady Bulldogs look to be small and mighty again this year. Five girls return to the team, but of those five, two of them won’t see much playing time, at least at the beginning. Melinn Roberts, senior, had surgery and is on the bench for the season.

CCO Wrestling Has Many Newcomers

Cross County-Osceola has a new coach and many new wrestlers. Coach Dylan Kaup has been coaching wrestling at the junior high level for CCO, but this year he has both. Ben Berggren is assisting.With only five returning wrestlers, many wrestlers will have things to learn.
Kyle Sterup (Osceola graduate and former StormDog) was named to the GPAC All Conference First Team. In 2024, he had 69 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, 5 sacks and a blocked field goal. He is a senior at Concordia University in Seward. For his career, he has 206 tackles, 45.5 tackles for loss and 13 sacks. Graphic provided.
