BRAINARD – East Butler hosted conference wrestling again this year, with this year’s addition of Twin River. Centennial was not present this year. Ten teams competed. CRC teams Twin River, Shelby-Rising City, High Plains, Cross County-Osceola, East Butler and Meridian.

The Eagles won 57-47 against Osceola.Janna Roberts had a three pointer to start the game, soon Bella Recker followed with one. Osceola was behind by just a few 14-17 after one quarter.Roberts got a steal in the second quarter. Osceola added just 8 points to the Eagles’ 19. It was 36-22 at half.

YORK - It was set to be an exciting county matchup, and that it was when Osceola finally came out with the double overtime win 57-52 over High Plains.High Plains was down two players, with Carter Urkoski and Maddix Fuhrman having both broken one of their hands.

Osceola Loses to East Butler in OT CRC Opener

YORK – Down 11 points after three periods, East Butler tied the game at 32-all to force overtime and then outscored Osceola 7-2 in the extra session to beat the Bulldogs 39-34 and avenge a five-point loss in December at Osceola.

MADISON – CCO Twisters competed at the Madison Invite. They placed 12th out of 17 teams with 53 points.106: Karston Dotson-Monroe started with a bye. He lost to Layton Schroeder (West Pt.-Bm) in a 2:42 pin. He won over Baldwin Garcia (Wake) by a 7-2 decision.
