Osceola Girls Return Small in Number but Mighty

OSCEOLA – The Lady Bulldogs look to be small and mighty again this year. Five girls return to the team, but of those five, two of them won’t see much playing time, at least at the beginning. Melinn Roberts, senior, had surgery and is on the bench for the season.

CCO Wrestling Has Many Newcomers

Cross County-Osceola has a new coach and many new wrestlers. Coach Dylan Kaup has been coaching wrestling at the junior high level for CCO, but this year he has both. Ben Berggren is assisting.With only five returning wrestlers, many wrestlers will have things to learn.
Kyle Sterup (Osceola graduate and former StormDog) was named to the GPAC All Conference First Team. In 2024, he had 69 tackles, 15.5 tackles for loss, 5 sacks and a blocked field goal. He is a senior at Concordia University in Seward. For his career, he has 206 tackles, 45.5 tackles for loss and 13 sacks. Graphic provided.

Osceola vs. HPC VB “Take Two..”

OSCEOLA- When you’re in the same conference and subdistrict with a team, you don’t just meet once or twice, but no sometimes three times. Osceola and High Plains met three times within one week.Friday was the second time and Osceola had home court advantage.

Three’s A Charm; Storm Wins in Subs Over Osceola

FRIEND – After losing to Osceola twice during a five-day stretch, the prospect of playing the Bulldogs might’ve felt a bit daunting for High Plains as the Class D1-5 sub-districts began Monday night at Friend High School.

Osceola Gets Big Win Over Meridian, Places Third

YORK — Osceola opened the Crossroads Conference Tournament on Saturday with a 25-17, 25-16 win over CRC newcomer Twin River.Kenzie Bartling and Eastyn Kropatsch each had 5 kills for the Bulldogs. Kropatsch had 7 digs, while Bella Recker added 6 digs. Emersyn Prososki finished with 14 assists.

Osceola Finishes Season with Loss to Eagles

CENTRAL CITY - Not the way the five seniors would’ve wanted to end their season, but Nebraska Christian won 39-14.The Bulldogs had 9 penalties called on them compared to 6 for the Eagles.

COUGARS CRC RUNNER UP & BULLDOGS 3RD

YORK - It was a long night of volleyball with the consolation game starting at 6 PM with Osceola against High Plains.After five long sets, Osceola came out victorious. Although each set seemed to end with the team capitalizing on their opponent’s mistake.
