1998 Osceola Graduate Part of Winning FCS Championship Team

Head Athletic Trainer, Charlie Miller who is a 1998 graduate of Osceola High School, proudly holds the Division 1 FCS National Football Championship trophy earned by the SDSU (South Dakota State University) football team this last weekend in Frisco, Texas.

OSCEOLA — The Osceola Library has vintage library cards hung on their Christmas tree. These cards date back to the 1940s, and go until 2014 when they implemented their computer system.

The Osceola Cheer and Dance Team hosted the first annual “Silent Night” game on Monday, December 12th. Fans were encouraged to wear their favorite festive sweater or costume and come ready (but QUIET!) to cheer on the Bulldogs.

Osceola Christmas Watchperson

At half time of Monday night's basketball game against East Butler, the first Osceola Christmas Watchperson was announced by the Dazzlers. Congratulations to Tasha Weller (to much of her surprise). Tasha has always been there to help with any activities or events throughout the community and school.

Renew Now! Subscriptions Going Up January 1, 2023

Due to rising costs of gas and postage, subscription prices are going up as of January 1st. An annual subscription in Nebraska will be $40 (an increase of $5) and out of Nebraska will be $45 (also an increase of $5). This is still a great deal, and more comparable to other newspapers our size.
