Enjoy a Bowl of Soup at Legion Club

Mark your calendars. The Knights of Columbus Soup Supper is coming to the Osceola American Legion Club. The Supper is from 5-7:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16. There is no cost, just a free-will offering. There will be chili and chicken noodle soup served at the supper.

Osceola Christmas Dinner

The Osceola Community Christmas Dinner will be held on Sunday, December 25th at St. Paul Lutheran Church. The meal will be served at 12:30 PM. Everyone is welcome! As in the past, the meat, potatoes and gravy, stuffing and beverages will be provided.

By Allie Ray Kick off Christmas break with the Osceola Public Library’s Story Hour! All children ages pre-K to 2nd grade are invited to an hour of stories, crafts, snacks and fun on Wednesday, December 21 at special time, 2:30!

Student Council is Seeking Donations

The high school student council will be sponsoring a family in Polk County for the holiday season. We are asking for donations to put towards purchasing gifts for this family. Contact a student council member or Mrs. Baloun to donate!

The Polk County Health Department will hold immunization clinics at the Polk County Health Department in Osceola on Monday, December 19th from 3:30 to 5:30. An appointment is required for compliance to the COVID-19 directives.

Renew Now! Subscriptions Going Up January 1, 2023

Due to rising costs of gas and postage, subscription prices are going up as of January 1st. An annual subscription in Nebraska will be $40 (an increase of $5) and out of Nebraska will be $45 (also an increase of $5). This is still a great deal, and more comparable to other newspapers our size.
