MURRAY-A hot muggy night at Conestoga High School prompted officials to start Friday night’s game an hour later in hopes that the weather would release it’s grip on the Nebraska heat wave.

Both Shelby-RC and Conestoga came into the match-up with 1-0 records, the Huskies boasting the No. 2 ranking in Class D2.
