Osceola Rolls Nebraska Christian-Earns Seat in D-1 Playoffs

OSCEOLA – Nelson, NE is a town located about 100 miles from Osceola on Rt. 14 and its co-op football team Lawrence-Nelson is rated ninth in the NSAAClass D-2 by virtue of its 7-1 regular-season record.At 7 p.m.

STROMSBURG – Cross County’s non-conference home volleyball match with stateranked Shelton had plenty of drama last Tuesday, with two of Class D-1’s top hitters matching up and Cougar setter Eden Peterson being honored for totaling 2,000 setting assists.

Cross County and Osceola Win to Meet in Semis

YORK - Cross County played Meridian for the second time in three days. Saturday it was in the conference tourney, winner moves on. Cross County won in two sets, 25-19 and 25-10.The first set Cross County had an early lead after Sydney Hengelfelt got 4 kills in a row.

OSCEOLA - Osceola hosted Shelby-Rising City and Meridian in a Crossroads conference triangular on Tuesday night.Osceola defeated Meridian in two sets, 25-15 and 25-17. Shelby-Rising City then defeated Meridian in three sets, 17-25, 25-18 and 25-18.

Cougars Reverse Sweep Shelton Bulldogs

STROMSBURG- The Shelton Bulldogs came into Cross County on Tuesday night riding an 18-match win streak.The Bulldogs only losses were to 19-4 Nebraska Christian, 24-2 Overton and 21-5 Ansley-Litchfield.Shelton actually had avenged the loss to Overton during the 18-game win streak.

MEAD- The Shelby-RC Huskies rolled to their seventh win of the year Friday night as two players eclipsed the 100-yard rushing barrier in the team’s 5418 win at the Mead Raiders.
