Cross County head football coach Mitch Boshart has just five seniors on his 2025 roster, but a host of sophomores and juniors made the most of extensive playing time during a 4-5 season last fall and are back with a little more size and strength.

Waller led Slammers Eager to get season rolling

STROMSBURG- It’s always a plus to return your starting pitcher and your top bat to the lineup.As a junior Adrienne Waller led the Polk County Slammers at both the plate and on the hill and returns this season to cap her high school softball career.

OSCEOLA- It has been 32 years (1993) since the Black and Orange of the Osceola Bulldogs have made an appearance at the Nebraska State Volleyball Tournament.The ingredients to rewrite history is all in place as the Bulldogs enter the 2025 season with high hopes and expectations.

OSCEOLA- The Osceola Bulldogs will feature a balanced attack this year as they return several experienced players from the 2024 team that posted a 2-6 record.Most of the Bulldogs problems in 2024 was that their defense allowed 38.13 points per game, while the offense put up 17.
