BRAINARD – East Butler hosted conference wrestling again this year, with this year’s addition of Twin River. Centennial was not present this year. Ten teams competed. CRC teams Twin River, Shelby-Rising City, High Plains, Cross County-Osceola, East Butler and Meridian.

Girls Wrestling: Four Qualify for State!

ORD – The Gress sisters from High Plains wrestled in districts at Ord. They both placed third and both punched their ticket to state in Omaha! This will be the first trip to state for Bailey, and the second for Dakota.120: Bailey Gress (HPC, 26-18) won over Khloe Pomplun (DT) in a 30-second pin.

The Eagles won 57-47 against Osceola.Janna Roberts had a three pointer to start the game, soon Bella Recker followed with one. Osceola was behind by just a few 14-17 after one quarter.Roberts got a steal in the second quarter. Osceola added just 8 points to the Eagles’ 19. It was 36-22 at half.
