OSCEOLA – Teams with only six healthy players rarely use a fullcourt press for any length of time, but Osceola girls basketball coach Brett Webster made the most of his team’s hustle and energy Friday night and the Bulldogs rewarded him with an easy victory.

COLUMBUS – The boys wrestled Friday and Saturday in Columbus at the Fieldhouse at the Norm Mandstedt (High Plains) Invite. High Plains and CCO wrestled.Placings included Hudson Urkoski second, Caleb Sharman fifth and Gage Friesen placed sixth.

COLUMBUS – Sixty girls’ wrestling teams competed on nine mats at the Columbus Fieldhouse for the Norm Mandstedt Invite. High Plains and Blue River were among those.Placings included Dakota Gress with third, and Bailey Gress in fourth and Nevaeh Martinez in fourth.

HAMPTON - The Storm triumphed over Hampton 66-40.It was an odd start to the game, as there wasn’t a tipoff. The boys’ game started with Hampton’s Rylee Scheidemann shooting two free throws due to a technical foul.
