Nyberg Visits Offutt Air Force Base

Marivel Nyberg of Stromsburg visited the Offutt Air Force Base New Parent Support Program. Early this year Marivel sought donations for infants and toddlers of military families for her FCCLA project. On March 22nd she delivered the items to the Family Advocacy Dept.

Swedish Festival

Plans are moving forward for the June 16-18 Stromsburg Swedish Midsommar Festival. The next planning meeting will be held at the Stromsburg Public Library on Tuesday, April 11, starting at 7 p.m. All are welcome to attend. Committee heads are encouraged to attend at least one meeting.

Local Author Book Signing

The Osceola Library hosted local author, Alena Mentink, for a book signing for her second book which is just released “A Bargain to Keep.” Mentink will be at the Stromsburg Library on April 8, starting at 10:30 a.m., if you missed her in Osceola.
